Hestia: a big vision

At Hestia childcare we have a clear vision and mission that inspires us every day in our work with children.

Hestia is the place where the foundation is laid for an inclusive, conscious and sustainable society.

Hestia wants to be an example of how childcare organizations and schools can be part of the change towards a more conscious and social world in the future. It is her mission to stimulate children to discover themselves, develop talents and be happy with themselves. To seek connections with others, society, culture and nature from there with curiosity, respect and compassion.

Childcare with a view to a better future

Hestia Kinderopvang wants to bring about change in the childcare sector. Today’s children are tomorrow’s society. And childcare can play a crucial role in making that future society more social, inclusive and aware.

That is why we, as a Social Purpose Organisation, are working on this vision every day. With a trained eye and a conscious attitude, we stimulate children in their development in a natural and free way (inspired by Montessori, Steiner and Reggio). With attention to nature and taking into account the impact on our environment, we make the connection to the outside world. And with an open mind and inclusive attitude, we teach children the power of collaboration and diversity.
We are a learning company and look at new paths and next steps with an investigative attitude. Always guided by our vision to make a social impact. Open to feedback and feedforward from the environment. And driven by a sense of responsibility for the new generations.

Supervisors who continue to develop

At Hestia, we believe in the combination of expertise and personality. Our people gain expertise in the field of child development through careful training and coaching in daily practice. In addition, we also find personal development of our employees important. So that they feel good about themselves and can be themselves. Aware of themselves, others and their impact on their environment. We encourage them to really work in their talent in order to get a natural supervisor for the children. This not only has a positive effect on themselves, but they are also an example for children.
